Mattar / Peas Paratha

Mattar / Peas paratha is one of my favorite paratha. Easy to make, healthy and delicious, this paratha makes its way to my lunch / breakfast / brunch very often.

  • Peas - 500 gms.
  • Green chilies - 4 
  • Jeera / cumin powder - 1 tsp.
  • Kalonji / black cumin - 3/4th tsp.
  • Cooking Oil
  • Wheat Flour Dough
  • Salt to taste
How to prepare:
  • In a grinder, make a fine paste of peas, green chilies and water.
  • In a frying pan, dry the peas paste. Now add little oil, kalonji, Jeera powder and salt and mix well.
  • Stuff the parathas with this delicious mix and make crispy mattar parathas. Serve with curd / pickle / mint chutney!
